Aiken Lions Club Peace Poster Contest
For more than three decades, Lions clubs around the world have been sponsoring a very special art contest in local schools and youth groups: the Lions International Peace Poster Contest. This initiative gives young people aged 11, 12, and 13 the creative opportunity to express their visions of peace and share their unique perspectives with the world.
Art has the power to transcend language and cultural barriers. By encouraging students to depict what peace means to them, we help foster empathy, creativity, and global citizenship among the youth in our community.
